DALLAS, July 23, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Neighborhood CU Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 scholarship program, awarding five outstanding students with $2,000 scholarships to support their educational journeys. This year's scholarship contest challenged students to examine one of today's most pressing financial topics through the prompt, "Planning with Purpose: Understanding the Impact of Student Loans in 2026."

Students submitted original essays or videos exploring how student loans influence major life decisions, including career choice, homeownership, and starting a family. Entries were evaluated on originality, thoughtful analysis, and their understanding of the long-term financial impact of student debt.
